As one of the leading optical stores in the HRM area, we at Butler Opticians are always trying to excel at the services we offer to you. Our Chain Lake location’s lease expires in July this year, and to be able to offer the latest and widest selection of products and services, we have decided not to renew the lease, and to enrich our Halifax Shopping Centre’s customer experience instead.  Halifax Shopping Centre is less than 8 kilometers away and a 5-minute drive. 

We opened our new, modern Halifax Shopping Centre location 3 years ago and it has proven to be extremely successful.  By merging the two stores together we will be able to keep costs down and provide even better service, making this a positive move for you, our loyal customer and the business.  Our experienced opticians are available Monday to Friday from 9:30 am to 9:00 pm and Saturdays from 9:30 to 5:00 pm.  All patient records will be moved to the Halifax Shopping Centre location and all warranties will remain in place. Our store is located on the lower level, around the corner from the Royal Bank, with Perks Coffee directly in front of us. There are convenient underground parking spaces just steps away by the American Eagle entrance.

We are thrilled to be able to offer our loyal customers new services and wonderful new products at this location.  We have an optometrist, Dr. Dube, available for full comprehensive eye exams by appointment, and we offer contact lens services as well.  With the increase of Baby Boomers there are many new, exciting, customized progressive lens products now available to correct presbyopia.  We have enclosed a pamphlet with information on these products to help in your decision when it comes time to purchase a new pair of lenses. Our professionally trained opticians will be on hand to help you determine what will be right for you and your needs.   We will continue to bring you the latest styles and most fashionable frames and take pride in helping you make the selection that suits you best.  As always we offer top quality lenses, coatings and frames and continually strive to offer exceptional customer service.
